Wasteland 3 delayed to August 2020

Wasteland 3 has been delayed to August 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 coronavirus, inXile Entertainment has today confirmed.

“We moved to a work-from-home environment some weeks ago, and that’s of course introduced new challenges that many of us throughout the world have been learning to manage,” an update on Twitter reads. “We’ve been excited to see the Wasteland 3 Beta so well received, but the reality is that with these new logisitical challenges our release was goign to be impacted.

“We’re in a great position with both Microsoft and Deep Silver supporting our desire to ensure the game launches in the best possible circumstances, and to add a few extra months to ensure this is stellar product on day one.”

As a result, Wasteland 3 will now be available from 28 August 2020 rather than it’s originally schedule release date of 19 May.

Wasteland 3 now heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 from 28 August.
