The Transformation of Fun is the theme for 2014’s Tokyo Game Show

The theme for 2014’s Tokyo Game Show was announced by organisers today as “Changing Games: The Transformation of Fun.” According to a press release “[t]he theme implies games created by fusion with network will break ground the new world of game with a renewed vision.”

The show enters it’s 24th year in 2014 with 2013’s show attracting over 270,000 visitors, a record for the event. The show floor will feature the same expanded layout as last year when additional halls in the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan were included.

The event’s organisers are now accepting registrations for booths and will do so up until 30 May. The show will take place 18-21 September. Stevivor will be at the event to bring you all the latest.
