Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 may soon receive DLC titled “Revelations” featuring a playable Alucard according to data files uncovered by a member of CS.RIN.RU. The data files reveal that players will control “Alucard and reveal a whole new aspect of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.”
Minor spoilers for the Lords of Shadow series follow. In the Lords of Shadow story, Alucard is previously Trevor Belmont the son of Gabriel Belmont who becomes Dracula. He was the protagonist of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate.
The description of the DLC states that players will experience an expanded story as new elements are uncovered as well as exploring new environments and tackling new puzzles. The description also reads, “Fight creatures of darkness and discover the true extent of Alucard’s involvement in Dracula’s story, his deal with death and his fight against Satan. Experience a whole new aspect of the thrilling conclusion to the ‘Lords of Shadow’ saga, including some enlightening revelations!”
