Fancy trying a "pre-release version" of the upcoming Switch 2 game?
Registration is now open for FromSoftware’s The Duskbloods Network Test on Switch 2, with those selected able to trial a “pre-release version of the game.”

How to register for The Duskbloods Network Test
Those interested can register here for the chance to play, and have until 11.59 pm AEST on 28 July to do so.
To be able to participate, registrants must own both a Nintendo Switch 2 console and have an active Nintendo Switch Online membership for online play.
As part of the application process, you’ll need to link your Nintendo Account to your application, so have that information on hand.
Who will be selected for The Duskbloods Network Test?
“Participants will be selected by order of sign-up,” FromSoftware detailed. “Check your account page to find out the result of your application starting on August 7th (Fri) at 23:00 AEST.
“If you are selected, you will be able to use the download code sent to you on this website to download The Duskbloods Network Test.”
What’s included in The Duskbloods Network Test?
“The Duskbloods Network Test allows for up to eight players to participate together in each of the multiplayer matches while the game is still in development,” FromSoftware said, adding, “we ask for your understanding that bugs may occur during gameplay.”
The developer added that “a large number of players” will connect at the same time to put load on its servers. Data from the Network Test will also be used for in-game balancing.
When does The Duskbloods Network Test take place?
The Network Test will take place during the following, very specific, times. Gameplay will not be permitted outside these windows, so make sure you’re available to play.
- Friday, 21 August: 8.00 pm to 11.59 pm AEST
- Saturday, 22 August: 12.00 pm to 4.00 pm AEST
- Sunday, 23 August: 4.00 am to 8.00 am AEST
- Sunday, 23 August: 8.00 pm to 11.59 pm AEST
- Monday, 24 August: 12.00 pm to 4.00 pm AEST
Those selected do not have to play within every single time… we’re looking specifically at you, 4.00 am callout!
The Duskbloods is a Switch 2 exclusive coming later in 2026.
