But upgrading on Xbox and PlayStation might cost you.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 will head to PS5, Xbox Series S & X and Switch in late March, Activision has today confirmed.
Available from 26 March, the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will run at 120FPS (frames-per-second) and 1080p, or 60FPS at a native 4K, while the Xbox Series S version will render at 1440p and upscale to 4K. All those current-gen versions come complete with spatial audio, sharper dynamic shadows, reflections, lens flares and enhanced textures. The Switch version? Well, it’ll obviously offer a little less in terms of visuals… but hey! It’s portable.
It’ll cost you, though: those players who already own Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 Deluxe Edition on Xbox One and PS4 can upgrade to Xbox Series S & X and PS5 at no cost; the rest of us will have to pay $15 AUD ($10 USD) to upgrade. It also needs to be noted that physical copies of the game cannot be upgraded.
If you’ve not purchased Pro Skater 1 & 2 yet, you can grab it for $84.95 AUD and gain access to last- and current-gen versions on Xbox and PlayStation. Over on Switch, you can grab the base game for $69.95 AUD or the Digital Deluxe version for $69.95 AUD.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4; it heads to Xbox Series S & X, PS5 and Switch from 26 March. We reviewed the title here.
