The Witcher‘s Geralt of Rivia is now available as a playable character inside the phenomenon that is Fortnite.
Players will need the Chapter 4 Season 1 Battle Pass to obtain Geralt, but that’s not all — a series of “unique quests” will need to be tackled before you can take on the monsterous.
“Geralt’s Outfit, as well as a variety of Witcher-themed Cosmetics including Weapons of the Witcher Back Bling, Spray inspired by the Muscle Memory witcher skill icon, the Igni Sign Emote, a Geralt of Rivia Loading Screen, and the Steel Sword Pickaxe,” can all be unlocked according to a press release.
Moreover, those who don’t want to go the paid route can work towards special School of the Llama Witcher-inspired free unlocks.
“The School of Llama challenges contain four paths, each featuring a number of trials and community-created challenge maps inspired by witcher signs and iconic Witcher-world locations,” the press release continued. “By progressing in School of Llama, players can unlock rewards such as the Silver Sword Pickaxe, a “Geralt of Rivia” Lobby Track, School of the Wolf Spray, witcher school Emoticons, and witcher sign Banner Icons.”
Path 1 of the School of the Llama is available now, with remaining paths opening up weekly over February.
Fortnite is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch. It’s also available on iOS, Android and PC via cloud-based streaming.
