Hooked On You gives the asymettrical horror title a heart.
The rumoured Dead by Daylight dating sim, Hooked On You, is a real thing and will head to Windows PC via Steam later this year.
The dating sim is in development by Psyop, which released I Love You, Colonel Sanders! in partnership with KFC in the past.
“Ever wanted to have a drink with The Wraith? What about take The Huntress out on a date, have a heart-to-heart with The Spirit, or find out what really makes The Trapper tick? Now’s your chance! Welcome to Murderer’s Island,” Behaviour and Psyop said as part of an announcement trailer.
“Your companions: four dead-sexy Killers who, underneath their murderous exteriors, just want a little romance. Flirt your way into their hearts, uncovering dark twists along the way. Will you find true love, forge friendships… or get hacked to death? Only you can decide.”
“You wanted it? You got it! Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim mixes horror, humor, and romance to create a fresh way for fans to interact and create an emotional bond with their favorite Killers,” added Behaviour’s Mathieu Côté. “Our goal with our first visual novel is to provide fans with a completely unique and surprising new way to experience the world of Dead by Daylight.”
Hooked On You is planned for a Windows PC via Steam release in winter 2022 here in Australia.
