Suicide Squad battle pass functionality likely

A screenshot has revealed possible GaaS elements.

Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League will reportedly feature Games as a Service (GaaS) elements like a battle pass, if a new, leaked screenshot can be trusted.

The screenshot, first posted to 4Chan and later verified by VGC, shows a battle pass tab. It also details in-game currencies and an in-game store — and can be seen below.

VGC’s Andy Robinson has furthered that the battle pass is for cosmetics, while in-game currencies will replace traditional XP systems.

“Characters do not start off debuffed and weak,” according to Robinson.

What do you make of battle pass and Games as a Service elements within Rocksteady’s newest? Sound off in the comments area, below.

Expect Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5 from 26 May 2023.
