Star Wars Battlefront adds Han Solo, Princess Leia and Emperor Palpatine to the hero lineup

It turns out the rumours were true. In a post over at the Playstation Blog, Star Wars Battlefront designer Jamie Keen has outlined three new heroes available in the multiplayer shooter, Princess Leia, Han Solo and Emperor Palpatine.

Leia and Palpatine are classed as support characters though they both pack some offensive punch as well. Leia has the power to down stormtroopers in a single blast as well as create a shield and drop powerups for other characters. Palpatine shares that powerup ability but can also wield force lightning and has a dash move to close distances quickly. Han Solo is more a straight up gunslinger with rapid fire, charge shot and a shoulder charge ability.

You can read the full breakdowns over at the Playstation Blog. Star Wars Battlefront arrives 19 November for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
