Star Trek will no longer stream on Crave in Canada

It looks like the shows will move to Paramount+

Star Trek shows will no longer be available for streaming in Canada via Crave, the service provider has confirmed.

Bell Media has told TrekMovie that while Star Trek content will remain on the airwaves via the CTV Sci-Fi channel, it will not be available to stream on Crave beyond 1 August.

“Our licensing agreement to deliver Star Trek titles on Crave has changed,” Bell Media said. “However, CTV Sci-Fi continues to be the exclusive Canadian broadcast home of Star Trek, and this content will continue to live on CTV.ca and the CTV app.”

CTV Sci-Fi subscribers will retain access to Star Trek Strange New Worlds, Star Trek Discovery, Star Trek Picard, Star Trek Lower Decks and Star Trek Prodigy using CTV.ca and the CTV app.

We’ll let you know what happens to new episodes of the franchise moving forward when the information is known.

Here in Australia, all Star Trek shows are available on Paramount+… though it’s expected Star Trek Prodigy will be inaccessible soon.
