Star Trek Timelines Offer Wall removed from iOS

The controversial Star Trek Timelines Offer Wall has been removed indefinitely from iOS, developer Tilting Point has today confirmed.

“Due to Apple guidelines the offers that can be presented on iOS are unfortunately too limited to be of interest,” an update reads.

“We know that there are still some ongoing concerns regarding the Offer Wall in general,” it continues. “We are working with ironSource to address those concerns, as best and as quickly as we can. This will involve clarification about their practices.”

Users have voiced concerns about the Offer Wall in that it’s unclear a user’s details and survey responses will be sold to third-parties in exchange for free in-game currency. Moreover, others believe that their information will be scraped and sold without actively engaging with the Offer Wall.

Resources crucial to the game including The Big Book of Behold Advice have closed in protest of the Offer Wall itself.

Star Trek Timelines is available now on Windows PC via Facebook & Steam, iOS and Android devices.
