Star Trek Resurgence will no longer be up for sale due to lapsed licensing

"Our license to distribute Star Trek: Resurgence has come to an end."

Star Trek Resurgence will soon be removed from digital storefronts due to lapsed licensing, Dramatic Labs and Bruner House have today declared.

“Our license to distribute Star Trek: Resurgence has come to an end, so the game will no longer be offered for sale,” begins a simple statement found on Resurgence‘s Steam page. “Existing customers can continue to access the game via their Steam library.”

At the time of writing, Resurgence remains available for sale on Steam, alongside PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo storefronts. In Australia, the title is priced between $30.00 and $37.45 AUD.

Available storefronts are below:

We’ve reached out to Dramatic Labs and Bruner House for further comment.

We reviewed Resurgence back at its launch in 2023, saying,”Dramatic Labs has created something special with Resurgence, populating the Star Trek universe in very much the same way that Picard Season 3 has just done; there are also a few other parallels in there that I’ll leave for the player to discover.”

Star Trek Resurgence is currently available — but perhaps not for long — on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, and Switch.
