Star Trek Prodigy Season 2 teases Voyager-A in hopes of being picked up

Alongside a legacy character we're all in stitches over...

A special Star Trek Prodigy Season 2 clip has teased the introduction of the Voyager-A alongside the inclusion of a legacy character from Star Trek Voyager itself.

Spoilers continue below, so read at your own risk.

The four-minute clip, accessible on the Star Trek website, not only includes the new Voyager, but its Chief Medical Officer: none other than The Doctor (who still appears to be nameless).

The U.S.S. Voyager-A is a LaMar special class science vessel, fitting with “the latest and greatest technology… and then some”.

From canon, we know that the Voyager-A didn’t have long in this galaxy; Star Trek Picard features the Pathfinder-class U.S.S. Voyager-B. Prodigy takes place approximately fifteen years before the events of Picard.

While the clip is a sight to behold, it’s marred by the fact that Star Trek Prodigy has been cancelled by Paramount+ and doesn’t have a proper home as yet. Fingers crossed.
