A special Star Trek Online winter event is on now across all platforms — Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
“Who couldn’t use a little bit of extra festive cheer this time of year? While this special event is active, Q’s Winter Wonderland will be accessible as if the same event from 2019’s appearance was in place, allowing players to return to the frosty playground and participate in all of its usual activities to earn prizes and let off some steam,” Perfect World and Cryptic said in an update.
The event will run simultaneously across all platforms between 24 April and 4 May.
Moreover, Star Trek Online is honouring frontline medical staff facing the COVID-19 coronavirus crisis with a free giveaway. Here’s what you can get:
- A brand new Vanity Shield, to deck your starship out in medical colors
- A Holo Bashir Bridge Officer for Federation Captains and their allies

The special giveaway is available now on Windows PC and heads to Xbox One and PS4 on 7 May.
