Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion adds story to Switch later this year

Splatoon 2 will receive a paid story expansion later this year, Nintendo today confirmed.

Playable Octolings will feature in the story, in which Agent 8 finds herself in a heavily fortified subway. It looks like she’ll be forced to fight her way out, presumably while trying to figure out what happened to her.

Check out a tease of “Octo Expansion” below:

The expansion is expected in the Australian winter.
