A Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse sequel has been confirmed for theatrical release in April 2022.
Fans of the original animated film can expect the sequel from 8 April 2022, it was confirmed over this weekend. The release date was tweeted with a teaser video that focuses on Miles Morales’ Spider-Man logo glitching out, showing what would appear to be alternate multiverse versions of it.
The Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse sequel will be directed by Joaquim Dos Santos (Voltron: Legendary Defenders) and is written by David Callaham (Wonder Woman 1984). We’ll have more on the film as it is made available.
