The Spider-Man New Game+ mode isn’t coming out tomorrow

A highly anticipated Spider-Man New Game+ isn’t coming out tomorrow, despite a recently update from Insomniac Games that confirmed the functionality.

A PlayStation Blog UK post stated that New Game+ was supposed to come with Spider-Man‘s 1.07 update, scheduled for tomorrow.

“Update 1.07 is one we’ve been working on for a while now, and adds New Game+ (NG+) as well as Ultimate Difficulty to the game,” the original post read. “NG+ allows you to play the story and all activities in the open world again with all of your unlocked suits, skills, gadgets, mods, and benchmarks from the beginning. While playing NG+, you’ll be able to unlock those final items while cleaning up your trophy list!”

The New Game+ details have since been deleted, with Insomniac Games taking to Twitter to say they’d be added in error. New Game+ mode doesn’t have a release date scheduled as yet, according to the update’s… erm, update.

Spider-Man is out now on PS4. Its first batch of DLC is scheduled for next week.
