Spider-Man Miles Morales 4K, 60FPS “Performance Mode” confirmed

Spider-Man Miles Morales 4K, 60FPS (frames-per-second) “Performance Mode” has been confirmed by developer Insomniac Games.

“Swing through the city like never before on PS5 with an optional 4K / 60fps Performance Mode,” Insomniac’s tweet reads, suggesting that those who’d like to bump up FPS can do so at a cost to resolution.

Spider-Man on PS4 ran at 4K and 30FPS, so the PS5 hardware is already offering up an improvement from the original title. It’s unclear what features will be compromised or removed in order to reach 4K, 60FPS in Miles Morales; we’ve asked Sony for further comment.

We’ll have more on Spider-Man Miles Morales as it’s made available. The game’s expected at the launch of the PS5 later this year.
