Spider-Man 2 doesn’t have co-op, says Insomniac

Miles Morales' voice actor was mistaken.

The upcoming Spider-Man 2 does not have co-0p, developer Insomniac has today confirmed.

Insomniac’s intervention is in direct reply to a comment made by Miles Morales’ voice actor, Nadji Jeter.

When asked about co-op at the SacAnime convention last year, Jeter said, “I don’t know if it’s been announced or not, but I think so,” when asked about the possibility of co-op play between Spider-Men Miles Morales and Peter Parker.

While Jeter’s comment has been available for some time, it only caught the attention of the internet in the last few days, causing Insomniac to take action.

Taking to Twitter, the studio confirmed that Spider-Man 2 “is an epic single-player adventure!”

We’ll likely learn more of Spider-Man 2 at Sony’s Showcase on 25 May.

Spider-Man 2 is planned for a release on PS5.
