At the Tokyo Game Show, Sony announced the official name for the Project Morpheus headset and virtual reality tech as PlayStation VR.
While not as flashy as Project Morpheus it’s a lot more direct and unlikely to confuse end consumers. We will miss thinking of The Matrix and the fabulous Laurence Fishburne whenever the headset is mentioned, but I guess them’s the breaks.
No other details about PlayStation VR were revealed or changed from what we knew of Project Morpheus. Stay tuned.
