Skyrim DLC for PS3 and PC may soon be available

Skyrim players on Xbox 360 have been lording it over their PS3 and PC counterparts for months now. Having received “Dawnguard” and “Hearthfire” weeks before the PC and with the PS3 having received none of the additional content, Xbox 360 owners have been sitting pretty.

Not for much longer according to a tweet from Bethesda. The company said “To update: we’re also close on new Skyrim content for PS3 and PC.” and “Thanks to all our fans. We think you’ll love the new stuff. We know it takes us time and thanks for all your support and patience!”

The PS3 version of the game has not received any of the additional content due to issues with the console’s resource-intensive system. Sony VP Adam Boyes announced in September that they were working closely with Bethesda to resolve the issue.

Fingers crossed for PS3 players.

The next DLC to be released is “Dragonborn” which will be available for Xbox 360 4 December. No release date has been set for PS3 or PC.
