The re-releases will contain the original games with scalable screen resolution, PC graphics options and an updated UI. Despite the enhancements, Sega said the titles will “stay true to the originals.”
Players will also be able to switch between the games’ English and Japanese voice overs and select either a modern or classic control scheme.
While the re-releases have been confirmed for 2018, specific release dates were not set.
A new title in the franchise, Shenmue 3, is also due later this year. It’s scheduled for PC and PS4.
