Shadow of the Tomb Raider early reveal details September launch

The official Tomb Raider site has been updated with a landing page that displays a date and time for some sort of announcement happening tomorrow.

Unfortunately, the beans have been spilled because some tags have been left in the HTML code for the website and out the game’s release date. According to the game, Shadow of the Tomb Raider looks set to come out on 14 September 2018. The game has been described as “the climatic finale of Lara’s origin story.”

Whoops. At any rate, the big reveal (that we apparently already know) is set for 12.01 am AEDT on 16 March.

This isn’t the first time details have been leaked for Shadow of the Tomb Raider — in 2016 a photo was taken by someone claiming an Eidos Montreal staff member was working on a presentation for the unannounced game. Then in 2017 some concept art for Shadow of the Tomb Raider was posted online by a video game creative agency.

The only other information listed on the site is that it seems like Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC – with pre-order incentives being announced on 27 April. We’ll be sure to keep you posted once the official reveal happens tomorrow.
