Telltale Games has reportedly laid off its remaining staff

Telltale Games has laid off the remainder of its staff, a new report suggests.

Last month, the developer confirmed it had laid off 225 of a total of 250 employees. Today, a tweet from Telltale Narrative Designer, Rachel Noel, suggests the rest of that employee base has been let go.

“Heeeeyyyy remember how there was going to be a skeleton crew staying on for a while and I was part of it? Nah, jk, we all just got laid off, too,” Noel tweeted.

Telltale has yet to comment on the matter.

Another recent report suggested Telltale was looking to outsource The Walking Dead: The Final Season‘s third and fourth episodes. In related news, Netflix has said that they are working with a Telltale “skeleton crew” to finish obligations on Minecraft: Story Mode, and will also be looking to work with another developer for a planned Stranger Things title.
