[UPDATE] PS4 digital library access might be lost after Konami pulls P.T. from the PlayStation Store

Users have taken to NeoGAF to complain that they’ve lost access to their digital library of games on PS4… simply because Konami has pulled P.T. from existence.

Twitter user Nick Cramer asserts that Sony’s DRM system checks all licenses at once, and since P.T. is no longer available, said license check fails, thereby removing access to ALL games.

You can see his theory — via Twitter — below:

We don’t know for sure if Cramer’s theory is correct, but a bunch of users of NeoGAF are complaining of the same library access problems. It should also be noted that the PlayStation Network is undergoing maintenance at this time, so it could possibly just be a coincidence.

Some users are reporting that you can activate the PS4 you’re having problems with as your primary console and then restore licenses, but this has yet to be confirmed.

We’ll keep you in the loop as this issue progresses.

Update: Thankfully, this issue appears to be connected to maintenance rather than P.T. problems. Rest easy, gamers!
