New details of Halo 5 — or Halo on Xbox One, if you’d prefer — have emerged today thanks to a Microsoft job posting and Wal-Mart website listing.
343 Industries recently posting a job listing for a Senior Multiplayer Designer role, looking for someone to “be responsible for implementation and execution of features within the competitive multiplayer [PVP] experience.”
The new position will also be responsible for “balancing and tuning existing competitive experiences, creating, developing, and delivering all new Halo MP game modes.”
Moreover, Wal-Mart has put a listing for Halo on Xbox One on their website. The release date posted is for October 2014.
Microsoft has said that Halo for Xbox One will be available in September, in time for the Xbox One’s debut in China and Japan, though they haven’t elaborated further.
