Destiny 2 cross-save support rumoured to be coming soon

Destiny 2 cross-save support is rumoured to be announced during developer Bungie’s upcoming pre-E3 2019 livestream. Moreover, another rumour suggests the game will receive Google Stadia support down the line.

Just like news of the game’s upcoming Shadowkeep expansion, dataminers have found an image that refers to “Cross Save” within the game’s updated files. It’s expected Bungie will make an announcement about both topics during its planned livestream, set for for 3.00 am AEST tomorrow, 7 July.

Moreover, Kotaku’s Jason Schreier cites multiple sources who claim the game will be offered through Google Stadia alongside the likes of Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. Google has its own pre-E3 2019 livestream scheduled for 2.00 am AEST tomorrow, 7 July.

We’ll report back on the news as it’s confirmed.

Destiny 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 — how good would it be to bounce between platforms with one set of Guardians?
