Both Cyberpunk 2077 and Ghost of Tsushima have been rumoured for release in 2020.
The reports come from Kotaku’s Jason Schreier, who noted that Cyberpunk 2077 was originally aiming for a 2019 before developer CD Projekt Red realised that was too lofty a goal.
“I’ve heard from three sources that Cyberpunk was aiming for 2019, but belief around the studio was that it was an unrealistic target. I expect first half 2020 or maybe even an E3 announcement of 2019, then a delay to 2020,” Schreier wrote before also asserting Ghost of Tsushima would have a similar release window.
We’re checking out Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 2019, so stay tuned for more on that title. As for Ghosts of Tsushima, don’t expect much: Sony’s not making an appearance at this year’s conference.
