The upcoming Resident Evil Netflix TV series will feature the Wesker kids alongside a city called New Raccoon City, a tease from the streaming service has detailed.
“When the Wesker kids move to New Raccoon City, the secrets they uncover might just be the end of everything,” a tease for the show reads.” Resident Evil, a new live action series based on Capcom’s legendary survival horror franchise, is coming to Netflix.”
Accompanying the post is a picture of the cover of the show’s first episode, titled “Welcome to New Raccoon City.” The episode is written by Andrew Dabb and directed by Bronwen Hughes.
News of a Resident Evil TV show first popped up in 2014; Netflix confirmed it had the series earlier in 2020. The show is a continuation of the Resident Evil series of films by Constantin Films.
