Resident Evil Dead By Daylight chapter coming June 2021

Celebrating Resident Evil's 25th anniversary.

A special Resident Evil Dead By Daylight chapter will head to the popular asynchronous multiplayer game from June 2021.

The collaboration is in celebration of Resident Evil‘s 25th anniversary, both Capcom and Behaviour Interactive have declared.

Apart from the June 2021 release date, not much more is known about the crossover, which will likely see one Resident Evil protagonist, antagonist and map added to Dead by Daylight. More information — likely, a roster and location — will be offered up on 25 May.

In the meantime, you can check out a special teaser trailer below.

Dead by Daylight is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4, PS5 and Switch.

Both Resident Evil Village and its bundled multiplayer component Resident Evil RE:Verse head to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4 and PS5 from 7 May 2021. A demo heads to PS5 this weekend followed by a multiplatform demo in early May.
