Xbox Games with Gold August 2022 free games were just announced by Microsoft, and again include a lacklustre roster of Xbox 360, Xbox One and Xbox Series S & X games available to subscribers.
As always, this month’s four new games are joined by one returning title from last month, July 2022. Each of the titles detailed below are available at zero extra cost to those who are subscribed to Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

- Saints Row 2: 1-15 August
- Monaco What’s Yours is Mine: 16-31 August
Xbox One | Xbox Series S & X
- Relicta: 16 July to 15 August
- Calico: 1-31 August
- ScourgeBringer: 16 August to 15 September
You might be able to sneak in a couple of July 2022’s Xbox Games with Gold free titles depending on when you’re reading this.
Subscribers should also remember that original Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One titles available as part of the program are backwards compatible (or delievered through Smart Delivery) on Xbox Series S & X.
The TL;DR? If you’ve got an Xbox 360, you can play those Xbox and Xbox 360 games on the console. If you’ve an Xbox One, you can play Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One titles. An Xbox Series S or X can play anything detailed below. Got all that?
