A Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart PC release has been confirmed for July, Sony has today declared.
Insomniac’s latest Ratchet & Clank game will be ported to PC by Nixxes Software, a first-party Sony studio acquired for its extensive history in porting titles to PC.
As we’ve previously reported, Nixxes is responsible for PC versions of titles including Legacy of Kain 2, Tomb Raider Legend, Tomb Raider Anniversary, Tomb Raider Underworld, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Hitman Absolution, Thief and more.
The PC version of the title will add ultra-wide monitor support for 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9 resolutions alongside support for triple-monitor setups.
“The game supports unlocked framerates and includes the latest performance enhancing upscaling technologies,” Sony said in a blog post. “You’ll be able to choose from NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2, Intel XeSS and Insomniac Games’ Temporal Injection. NVIDIA Reflex and image quality enhancing NVIDIA DLAA are also supported.”
Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart is already available on PS5 and heads to Windows PC on 26 July. We reviewed the PS5 version here back in 2021 when Sony was still sending us review code.
