Rainbow Six Siege Operation Para Bellum announced by Ubisoft

Rainbow Six Siege Operation Para Bellum, the game’s major update of Year 3 Season 2, has been teased today by Ubisoft.

“Year Three Season Two brings a breath of innovation, spawning a new intel gadget, a Clubhouse map buff, an Echo buff, lots of gameplay fixes, and the Pick & Ban settings,” Ubisoft said of the fixes surrounding the new content.

“On the gameplay front, expect a series of enhancements. We are adjusting how dropshotting is handled and implementing a new counter defuser animation. Make sure to play on our Test Server and submit your feedback on the R6 Fix.”

As for Operation Para Bellum itself, expect two new Defenders on what Ubisoft calls its “most competitive map to date,” the game’s nineteenth.

A full reveal of Operation Para Bellum is scheduled for Twitch across 19-20 May. Siege‘s Pro League Finals take place at that same time.

Rainbow Six: Siege is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
