Bethesda has recently detailed Rage 2 post-launch content, beginning at launch and carrying on until the end of this year.
The post-launch content comes in the form of a variety of modes and events and also includes new vehicles, cheats and enemies alongside two full expansions. Here’s what to expect and when.
From launch day, 14 May, players will start to receive community challenges. Those who participate will be rewarded with skins, though a special Vomit Comet pistol skin will be awarded should the community complete the challenge. New challenges will be offered up over May and June and will be detailed in-game using a Message of the Day function. Morevoer, an in-game event called “Bring the Ruckus” is also planned, as are new challenges, cheats and events leading into June. All of the above content will be added to the game for free.
In July, a large update will add a new vehicle and enemy type alongside further challenges, skins and cheats. A month later, in August, players can expect Rage 2′s first expansion, Rise of the Ghosts. That expansion adds a new storyline, region, weapons, abilities and vehicles. A second expansion is scheduled for November. Both expansions are paid DLC.
Rage 2 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 14 May.
