A PS5 pre-order announcement will be made ahead of time, allowing gamers the chance to prepare for the big event.
Sony made the confirmation today in conversation with Geoff Keighley.
“I got a message from someone saying people are lining up at stores, and we had no idea why,” Sony Senior Vice President of Marketing, Eric Lempel, told Keighley in a recent livestream.
“We’ll let you know when pre-orders will happen,” Lempel continued. “It’s not going to happen with a minute’s notice. We’re going to, at some point, let you know when you can pre-order PS5.”
We’ll of course let you know when the announcement is made, and the actual time and date in which PS5 pre-orders will be taken.
