PlayStation Now won’t launch in Europe until 2015; no mention of Australian details as yet

Eurogamer today reported on the timeline for the rollout of PlayStation Cloud services, which includes PlayStation Now.

The slide shows that while the service will launch in early 2014 in North America and Q4 2014 in Japan and North Korea, the service won’t hit European shores until Q1 2015. Before becoming available in Europe, PlayStation Now will be available for PlayStation consoles (including Vita), Sony TVs, tablets, smartphones and a range of compatible devices.

There’s been no mention of Australia in any of the discussions regarding PlayStation Now and while we’re usually lumped in with Europe, we can’t be sure until an announcement is forthcoming from Sony.

A closed beta launches for the service on PS3 and PS4 in North America later this month with the full launch for the region coming in Q2 2014.
