Sony’s third fiscal quarter results (to end of December 2014) have shown a 16.8% sales increase year-over-year, attributed to the strong performance of the PS4 and “network sales revenue”.
This increase is despite write-downs of PS Vita and PSTV due to lower than expected sales and a slowing PS3 software market. It is just another confirmation that the PS4 is doing very well to start this generation, an encouraging sign for Sony considering the slim exclusive offerings they have put forward so far.
