Play multiplayer on PS4 without PS Plus this weekend

Sony followed Microsoft’s lead this generation and, like Xbox Live Gold, playing multiplayer on PS4 requires a PlayStation Plus subscription.

But not this weekend.

Sony is letting everyone play multiplayer on PS4 without the requirements of PS Plus this weekend. Commencing 5pm AEDT, 13 February and concluding 5pm, 16 February, all multiplayer PS4 games will be playable for all PS4 owners regardless of subscription status.

The offer doesn’t extend to PS3, but not to worry, you don’t need PS Plus to play multiplayer games on PS3.

If you don’t have a PS Plus subscription, which multiplayer games will you take for a spin on the weekend?
