Pay an exorbitant price for a PS4 with PT installed

Rarities in gaming have always fetched princely sums, from limited NES carts to obscure Japanese hardware. In this age of digital distribution you would think rarity is a thing of the past (how can you limit downloads?) but it turns out hardware with discontinued games installed can still find a market. Flappy Bird proved this, and now entrepreneurial types are attempting to cash in on the removal of P.T from the Playstation store.

The first eBay listing for a PS4 with P.T installed is asking for a mere 1000 GBP, or $1900 AUD. Sure, it comes with a few other games and in ‘immaculate condition’ but that is a hefty markup for a single downloadable title the day after it was removed from the store. It will be interesting to see if anybody bites, though the news coverage this sale is receiving will probably open this particular item up to fake bidders and trolling.
