PAX AUS 2021 postponed until 2022

So... PAX AUS 2022 then.

PAX AUS 2021 has been postponed until 2022, its organisers have today revealed.

ReedPOP took to Twitter with the unfortunate news.

“At the start of the year, we were optimistic that we’d all be able to come together in person this October,” a statement reads. “We’ve been working hard with our partners and exhibitors to deliver the best possible version of PAX AUS 2021, but due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19 in Australia, the next edition of PAX Aus will now take place in 2022.”

The statement comes at a time when three of Australia’s largest cities — Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane — are all in lockdown due to the COVID-19 delta variant.

An online version of the convention will be offered in the physical event’s place, with further details to be provided soon. Moreover, those who’ve purchased tickets to the physical event will be offered a full refund; more information on that process will also be available within the coming days.

We’ll keep you informed as we learn more of PAX AUS 2021.
