The new Xbox App will soon head to iOS, offering the same remote play functionality that can currently be found on Android devices.
Today’s news comes by way of The Verge’s Tom Warren, who had a chance to check out the app in preview ahead of release.

The new app looks almost identical to the Xbox App on Windows PC and Android, allowing access to Achievements, Parties and text chat alongside the Microsoft Store. It also allows for connection and remote play from Xbox One consoles accessible on the same network (or theoretically, through the internet if you’ve got a static IP).
We’ll let you know when the app is available for download.
