The answer? Not very well...
A new Twisted Metal trailer has dropped and attempts to explain how a show will base itself on a game where you exclusively drive around in cars trying to kill others.
If you ask me, it’s a mixed bag.
“From the twisted minds behind Dealpool and Zombieland ,Twisted Metal is a high-octane action comedy that follows a motor-mouthed outsider [Anthony Mackie] offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland,” local streamer Stan said in a press release.
“With the help of a badass axe-wielding car thief [Stephanie Beatriz], he’ll face savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road, including a deranged clown who drives an all too familiar ice cream truck.”
Mackie and Beatriz are joined by Thomas Haden Church (Sideways, Spider-Man: No Way From Home), Will Arnett (Lego Masters, Murderville) Neve Campbell (The Lincoln Lawyer, Scream) and Joe Seanoa (AEW).
