Mortal Kombat X Mobile rebrands ahead of Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat X Mobile will become Mortal Kombat ahead of the release of Mortal Kombat 11NetherRealm has confirmed.

The rebranded mobile game will allow it to incorporate elements of Mortal Kombat 11 rather than releasing a new mobile title.

“The Mortal Kombat mobile game will continue to improve and expand in 2019 with lots of new content and new characters. Please stay tuned for more updates in the weeks to come,” a post on Facebook reads.

Mortal Kombat X Mobilenow Mortal Kombat, is a free-to-play title on both iOS and Android devices. Mortal Kombat 11 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 23 April 2019.
