MLB The Show 21 has a new cover star in Fernando Tatis Jr., Sony and Sony San Diego Studio today confirmed.
“Even though 2020 had many bleak moments, Fernando’s on-the-field play was a bright spot, and San Diego Studio is pleased to announce that he will be gracing the cover of MLB The Show 21,” the developer said in a press release.
MLB The Show 21 marks the first time the title will be available on a non-PlayStation console; it is planned for a 20 April 2021 release across PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S & X.
While a Collector’s Edition is planned, it’s not yet been detailed by Sony. The publisher has confirmed that those who pre-order — on PlayStation, at least — will receive 1 Gold Choice Pack for their trouble.
MLB The Show 21 heads to PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S & X on 20 April.
