Microsoft has declared January 2015 the “time for us to talk about gaming on Windows.”
Whle Microsoft itself made the pledge on its Blogging Windows site, Spencer also reaffirmed Xbox’s commitment to games on Windows 10 in addition to the Xbox One.
@RpLayy I'll be focusing more on what we are doing on Win10 in January, it's time for us to talk about gaming on Windows.
— Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) December 12, 2014
A Windows 10 event will be held on Microsoft’s Redmond campus on 21 January.
The Xbox One will use Windows 10 features to present consumers with a unified platform across game consoles, phones and computers. The transition should also make it easier for developers to prepare games across all Windows devices.
