Microsoft Flight Simulator Top Gun DLC delayed to 2022

To coincide with the new release date of Top Gun Maverick in cinemas.

Microsoft Flight Simulator Top Gun DLC has been delayed to May 2022 to coincide with the new release date of Top Gun Maverick in theatres.

“Paramount Pictures recently shifted the release date of Top Gun: Maverick to Memorial Day weekend, May 27, 2022,” a post on the game’s blog reads.

“As we have previously announced, the Top Gun: Maverick expansion for Microsoft Flight Simulator… will be released alongside the movie,” it continues. “We look forward to sharing more information in the future.”

Top Gun Maverick was one of three big films delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Ghostbusters Afterlife and Jackass Forever were also pushed back recently.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is available now on Windows PC, Xbox Series S & X and is also part of Xbox Game Pass.
