Metro Exodus will be released worldwide on 22 February 2019, with Microsoft’s Phil Spencer promising it will “look and play best on Xbox One.”
It’s the long awaited revival sequel to Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light, which were acquired by Deep Silver after THQ went bust. Both were remastered for Xbox One and PS4, but this is the first new Metro game we’ve seen since it changed hands in the great THQ fire sale.
Set in the post-apocalyptic wasteland of the former Russian Federation, it continue’s the series first person action/stealth gameplay.
