Metro 2039 announced, to be detailed later this week

More to come.

Metro 2039 has been announced by 4A Games, Deep Silver, and Xbox, with a full reveal promised for later in the week.

For now, you can check out this 17-second teaser that’s big on logos and pretty much nothing else.

“Xbox are thrilled to partner with 4A Games and Deep Silver to reveal the first look at METRO 2039, the next installment in the METRO franchise,” reads a description attached to the trailer.

The reveal itself takes place on 17 April here in Australia. We’ll be back then with more on the sequel.

While we wait, are you excited for another entry in the Metro series? Why or why not? Sound off in the comments area, below.

Metro 2039 heads to at least PC and Xbox… well, sometime. We’ll know far more later in the week.
