Mass Effect 3 multiplayer could come to Mass Effect Legendary Edition

Mass Effect 3 multiplayer could potentially be added to Mass Effect Legendary Edition, BioWare’s Mac Walters has conceded.

“I would never say no to [the addition of multiplayer],” Walters told CNET.

“We want to see what kind of reception the Legendary Edition gets and what the demand for the multiplayer is,” he continued. “And then we’ll ask ourselves if we have the resources and time to bring it up to the quality level we and fans want.”

Mass Effect 3 Legendary Edition has been amended as a result of its current lack of multiplayer; the mode used to bolster the single-player Galactic Readiness scale, which in turn impacted your performance within its endgame.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is now available on to Windows PC via EA Play and Steam alongside Xbox One and PS4 (also compatible on Xbox Series S & X and PS5). We reviewed the remastered trilogy here.
