Almost a full 24 hours after our report that Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2 pricing on Xbox One was incorrect, the pricing remains inflated.
As of 9.00 am AEST today, Friday 29 July, the re-released games are still priced at $59.95 AUD individually, or $99.95 AUD for the pair.
Activision told us earlier in the week that the games were to be priced at $49.95 AUD for one or $69.95 for both. These are the prices available on the PlayStation Network.
This isn’t the only controversy surrounding the 10-year-old releases. Bill Rosemann of Marvel Games has taken to Twitter to assure fans that they’re questioning Activision over the globally-canned quality of the last-gen to current-gen ports.
#UltimateAlliance fans, we hear you & are sharing your concerns w/ our friends at @Activision! Please stay tuned! pic.twitter.com/lxBEwtkrle

While we’ve had comment from Microsoft on the issue, Activision here in Australia has remained tight-lipped.
We’ll let you know if anything changes.
